Features & Benefits
Includes a dedicated 5 m grounding cord attached to an ethernet joining adaptor
Includes a grounding plug to safely plug into a power outlet
Comes with shielded Cat 7 Ethernet cable segments (0.5 m + 2 m) for full compatibility and future-proofing
Helps mitigate “dirty electricity” running along network lines, which can contribute to negative health
Especially beneficial for laptops, which are usually ungrounded, especially when charging. Grounding through the Ethernet port can significantly reduce electric field exposure and high-frequency currents.
Strong, reliable construction with soldered connections for long-term grounding effectiveness
Ideal For
People using shielded Ethernet cables in workstations, laptops, or networking setups
EMF-aware users who want to minimise the electric-field component carried on their network lines
Home offices, tech-sensitive environments or shared workspaces where grounding can improve comfort
Anyone who already uses hard-wired internet and wants to ensure their connections are safer and cleaner
Specifications
Ground method: Plug into grounded outlet via plug
Compatibility: Works with Cat5 / Cat6 / Cat7 shielded Ethernet cables
How to Use
Plug the 5 meter grounding cord into the top of the Earthing Plug.
Plug the 0.5 meter into one end of the Ethernet joining adaptor and the other end into the data outlet or Modem.
Plug the 2.0 meter into one end of the Ethernet joining adaptor and the other end into the computer or the device you are using.
Plug the Earthing plug into a power point - it does not need to be turned on.
Note
Network cables (also called ethernet cables, cat5 or cat6, or patch cables) carry electric fields from nearby power cords and lines. These electric fields contain dirty electricity - frequency pulses generated by electronics which are not compatible with the human body. Shielded network cables are the solution to this, but they MUST be properly grounded.
Most consumer devices (modems, routers, switches, laptops, etc) do NOT properly ground network cables.
From a safety point of view I recommend adding a Earth Socket Tester to your order to ensure that your power socket is correctly connected to the Earth.
