What’s Included:
1 × 5 meter grounding cord attached to an ethernet joining adaptor
1 x Earthing Plug to go into the power outlet to obtain an earth
1 × 0.5 meter Shielded Cat 7 Ethernet cable
1 × 2 meter Shielded Cat 7 Ethernet cable
How to Use:
Plug the 5 meter grounding cord into the top of the Earthing Plug.
Plug the 0.5 meter into one end of the Ethernet joining adaptor and the other end into the data outlet or Modem.
Plug the 2.0 meter into one end of the Ethernet joining adaptor and the other end into the computer or the device you are using.
Plug the Earthing plug into a power point - it does not need to be turned on.
Health Benefits:
This kit is especially beneficial for laptops, which are usually ungrounded, especially when charging. Grounding through the Ethernet port can significantly reduce electric field exposure and high-frequency currents.
Note:
The Ethernet Grounding Adapter Kit is a simple yet effective solution to mitigate the harmful effects of electric fields from network cables, ensuring a safer, healthier workspace by grounding laptops, printers, and other electronic devices.
Network cables (also called ethernet cables, cat5 or cat6, or patch cables) carry electric fields from nearby power cords and lines. These electric fields contain dirty electricity - frequency pulses generated by electronics which are not compatible with the human body. Shielded network cables are the solution to this, but they MUST be properly grounded.
Most consumer devices (modems, routers, switches, laptops, etc) do NOT properly ground network cables.
From a safety point of view I recommend adding a Earth Socket Tester to your order to ensure that your power socket is correctly connected to the Earth.
